Quality Indicators - A Resource List
National After-School Accreditation
The NAA Standards for School-Age Quality specifically address the
indicators of quality programs reflected in current
research. Examples include meeting the developmentally
different needs of youth, 5-14
years, involving children and youth in program planning,
providing positive interactions between children and
youth and adults, and ensuring a safe and challenging
environment for children and youth in out of
school time.
Travis County Afterschool Network's Quality
Self-Assessment Tool
This self-assessment tool provides an opportunity for
program leaders and key staff, in collaboration with
other stakeholders, to utilize a common set of standards
to assess, plan, design and execute strategies for
ongoing program improvement. This survey is not intended
to be one-size fits all, but easily customized to
address the specific goals and activities of each
program.
State Child Care Regulations
The National Resource Center for Health
and Safety in Child Care has compiled
the child care regulations for all of
the states in one location.
